Met with some friends out at Showplace East last night for the new Sacha Cohen movie Bruno.  Now, this typically isn't the type of movie I'd be interested in seeing, but I needed a distraction and nothing is better at that than watching people in uncomfortable situations.  This movie did not fail to deliver. Don't see this movie if you don't have a perverted sense of humor.  It's raunchy, full of male nudity, and enough absurd situations to make you cover your face in a dark movie theater. Christ their prices are getting out of hand.  Just last night my wife and I decided to check out Disney's UP and it ended up costing us close to $30 when all was said and done.  Consider that the normal charge for a movie is $9 and it's an additional $2.50 per ticket to see a 3D film like UP.  Now set back $23.00 I slowly make my way to the snack bar where I have to pony up $5.00 for a small coke and small popcorn. So, $28 later I'm setting in a cozy theater, decent picture, 3d images, great sound, but drinking water downed coke and stale popcorn.  Is it worth it?  Money spent does not equal...

Man, the Holiday Drive In in REO needs to update their website more frequently.  Here I am planning outings for the weekend and I can't even tell what will be showing at the drive in.  The only thing that's up as of this posting is last weeks schedule.  Will they be showing Terminator Salvation?  I don't know, it's anyones guess.
