Has anyone else noticed how cruel and unusual most of the comments are over at CourierPress.com?  I mean, it's like the worst of Evansville comes out to leave obscure comments on horrible stories, that no doubt family members are reading.  Some of which I'm surprised pass a language filter, but others are just there to be rude. The Evansville Courier should be taking steps to prevent 50% of those comments from even being published.  While automated scripts will catch the curse words, it looks like there needs to be a full time moderator of the site.  Someone to hang around and just keep the site...

Yeah, yeah, so I go golfing on a beautiful day and only take one picture.  Well, this one picture should put a smile on your face, at least it did the attendant in the club house at Howell Park on Saturday when I went golfing. Maybe they should take this guy down, it is awfully close to the minature golf course.  And perhaps once they finish the pool it will be a lot busier and if you stare long enough it becomes a little offensive( or maybe just intimidating).

Looks like police in Evansville had a busy weekend.  According to the Courier Press, city police handed out over 270 tickets, made 20 criminal arrests, and arrested 3 individuals on drunk and driving charges. The ramp up of law enforcement in the area was part of the Indiana Operation Combined Accident Reduction Effort(C.A.R.E.) and Statewide Driving Under the Influence Project.  The last public report stated that C.A.R.E. was responsible for reducing fatal injuries on the highways by more than 20% in the last decade. Man, the Holiday Drive In in REO needs to update their website more frequently.  Here I am planning outings for the weekend and I can't even tell what will be showing at the drive in.  The only thing that's up as of this posting is last weeks schedule.  Will they be showing Terminator Salvation?  I don't know, it's anyones guess. Sure could use some rain, this drought has been killing me in Evansville Indiana.  How many days has it been since it rained last? I guess the good news is that there is a storm front moving in the size of Missouri and it's all red on my radar.  Of course I'm being sarcastic and I'm pulling my hair out ready to be done with all this rain.  Come on, at least give me 2 days in a row where I don't have to worry about my gutters or flooding.
