I’m not sure why 1280 AM in Evansville decided to cancel Michael Savage and bring on a poor man’s Rush Limbaugh, but they did. I completely understand that Savage is an extremist, but I need him to help balance out what I’m being exposed to every day anyways, the extreme left. Since he’s been removed from the line up and he’s been replaced with Glen Beck, what am I supposed to get angry about on the way home in the evenings?
I dropped an email to 1280 the week Savage was taken off air, but never received a response. Maybe I was the only one that appreciated the rantings, the anger, the in your face conservative views. Not that I agreed with him all the time, but it was just a breath of fresh air when being bombarded with the Evansville Courier slant and local news.
1280 AM, if you are listening, bring back Savage at least in some time slot.
