@OzardofWiz, that looks like one big editorial statement, especially #4 that relies on heavy speculation.

Dear Admin,

You said "...I could care less what goes on with the Liberty Dollar, I was not affected."

(Y)OUR freedom hangs in the balance, pal. Quote from G. Edward Griffin:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The government confiscation of American Liberty Dollars
By, G. Edward Griffin [author, Creature from Jeckyl Island]
December 5th,2007
Regarding the government’s confiscation of American Liberty Dollars, the facts speak louder than editorial comment:
1. The government did not charge the ALD or its managers with any crime.
2. Various departments of the government on previous occasions have said that the ALD is not in violation of any laws.
3. Because no charges of illegality were ever brought against the ALD, management of the ALD recently brought suit against the government for making statements to the press to the effect that the ALD was not legal.
4. One must conclude from this that the government has decided to retaliate against this suit outside of the court. One must assume also that the parallel existence of a sound money (one that is backed by silver) has become an embarrassment to the government by focusing on the weakness of its own fiat money system; thus, it decided to accomplish by sheer force of police power what it cannot accomplish as
easily in a court of law. It is counting on the public being convinced that the ALD really is illegal based solely on the fact that it was raided. It may take years for the ALD to be vindicated in court. In the meantime, it is physically out of business, the public is convinced it is illegal, and the cost of defense will be enormous.
5. Thankfully, Bernard von NotHaus is a bulldog and will pursue this fight to the end. He is fighting for our right to a sound money and he deserves our support.
Does the U.S. Govt. Owe YOU Money?
Hearing about the raid on the national fulfillment office of the Liberty Dollar didn't put me in the fit of pink, but I learned to get over it by donating all of my interest in my unfulfilled orders (that were either curtailed or confiscated by the government on Nov. 14). And to encourage greater participation among bystanders, I've further divided my give-away down to as little as one penny provided that these tiny demands for refund be donated to the Liberty Dollar, Legal Defense Fund to help eliminate the logistical nightmare of the Liberty Dollar staff trying to disperse a mere penny to gazillions of people from the proceeds gained whenever the class action lawsuit is completed. But any demand for a refund greater than, or equal to a dollar, could go to the bystander. Since I can contract-out my property to anyone I choose, and further subdivide my give-away down to ridiculously small fractions, my feeble loss (as great as it may seem to me) can be magnified to potentially include lots of participation from anyone who isn't already involved, but who might now consider the possibility that more than just my rights have been violated, but their's as well.
Admin, the proper phrase is "I couldn't care less" not "I could care less." If you could care less, than it means that it is not at the bottom of your list of cares. If you could not care less, it means that it is at the very bottom of your list of cares. But, not to worry, everybody nowadays (except me) makes that same mistake.
